Sermon Synopsis November 19th: “One Body Under God”

I suspect most reading this can recite that most memorable line from Alexandre Dumas’ classic historical novel, “The Three Musketeers:” “All for one and one for all.” It was their rallying cry that signaled their solidarity. Together, they’d engage their enemies as one, wielding their swords united; regardless how insurmountably lopsided the odds stacked against them.

But let’s be real about their signature motto; which in reality, translated into “Four for one and one for four.” Don’t forget d’Artagnan, around whom the storyline revolved. He was the virtual fourth Musketeer.

“Where are you going with this, Bob?” Even getting four people to commit to the same purpose can be difficult. So, getting 75+ persons united on the same page – nearly impossible! But this is exactly what God asks us of at Faith Family Fellowship – and every other church regardless its size.

Why not come out this Sunday morning as we continue our fall sermon series surrounding the ministry of Martin Luther to hear the message, “One Body Under God,” – borrowing from that similar phrase nestled in our nation’s Pledge of Allegiance?
