As we reflect on 2017, we all have so much for which to be thankful this Thanksgiving season. For me on the personal level, I am most grateful that though I lost my older brother in death, I’ll be reunited with him in eternal life. Then on our church level, I am most grateful that God has given us this Thanksgiving weekend to rejoice over our 3rd anniversary of our Grand Opening back on November 23, 2014. Some of you may have heard our story; but just a handful of us at the church were privileged to live the story – when out of Heaven’s Blue, God dropped the deed to our church property into our church offering plate! A stroke of karmic luck to the skeptic; a miracle to people of faith!

On Thursday, we all celebrated Thanksgiving. But for the Christian community, every day of the year is a virtual Thanksgiving Day. Why? Because every day, God provides for our various needs, from life itself to good health, from a loving family and loyal friends to faithful pets (my dog, Jabez, insisted I insert this), from a satisfying job, a comfortable house and a safe car to the gift of salvation.

Why not come out this Sunday to hear more about what else can get dropped into our offering plate? and it’s not what you think!
